The Right Here Community

Two young people in silhouette: University of the Arts London, Lois Drayson

There are many different organisations and individuals providing innovative mental health support for young people aged 16 to 25.

We will be establishing a Right Here Community so that we can share the learning from projects to improve services across the UK.

You may be based anywhere in the UK and:

  • run a local community project

  • work in a school or college

  • volunteer with a charity

  • work as a researcher or policy maker

  • provide advice and guidance online.

Whatever you do, if your work involves improving the lives of young people, being part of the Right Here Community could be of benefit to you and your service.

All you have to do to become part of this Community is to sign up to our newsletter and we'll keep you informed.

You can also browse our resource centre which includes information and briefings about young people’s mental health and well-being and the services young people use.

The involvement young people had in Right Here was something that really attracted me.

In my mind it seemed the most effective way of promoting mental health and wellbeing and tackling stigma amongst young people.

Of course I applied to become a member of the panel with a knowledge of mental health issues.

However Right Here has built on this and has been a great learning opportunity.

The investment Right Here has given to all members of the panel has been fantastic.
