We recieved 220 applications. We selected the 4 pilot sites stood the best chance of being sustained and replicated locally, and nationally.
All 4 pilot sites that could learn from each other and generate learning about the things that matter to us, such as youth involvement. These pilots also have the optimum potential to influence policy and practice.
We are also currently looking into an online/media opportunity and more details about this will be posted up here soon.
The Pilot Sites
The Right Here pilot sites will be launched in April 2010, after a preparation phase, during which time the sites will be preparing the ground for their new services. The pilot sites are:

To help us achieve our objectives, Paul Hamlyn Foundation, the Mental Health Foundation, and the Right Here consultants will work closely with the pilots to:

Create structures, processes and other opportunities to support our objectives

Plan, implement and embed new ways of supporting young people’s mental health, co-owned by the voluntary and statutory partners and the young people who will be shaping and implementing the work

Monitor and evaluate their progress against key milestones

Evidence, and share with other organisations and local authorities, commissioners and policy makers, the positive outcomes and impact for young people, communities and organisations.
